Patrick van der Pas (He/Him/His) is an independent strategy expert at PTRCKVDPS in the field of intercultural relations, business development, and Human Rights. As a change agent, he loves solving complex social and cultural policy challenges. Currently, Patrick is also Human Rights Officer for Copenhagen 2021.

By exploring the dynamics of contexts from a multidisciplinary perspective, Patrick van der Pas contributed to the success of multimillion projects and companies in a wide range of industries. His performances are highlighted by his role as Project Manager for Global Pride 2020, bringing together hundreds of organizations, artists, and state officials from all 7 continents, reaching an audience of 57 million people worldwide. Furthermore, Patrick established a policy analysis and lobby strategy report for WordProof, analyzing European privacy laws and policies on blockchain technology, and how these technologies can contribute to advance internet safety.

Starting at the most practical-oriented education level Patrick van der Pas worked his way to a double master’s degree in Public Policy and Human Development from Maastricht University and United Nations University. Another highlight of Patrick’s educational trajectory is the fact that he successfully completed three minors during his bachelor’s in Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology, to be known Global Health, Care & Society, Gender & Sexuality and Governance and Policy.

In his pastime Patrick van der Pas is a Human Rights advocate working in the international civic & social organization industry for over five years and always looking for new challenges.
